It is such a great feeling when you see the lights dim and the intro music starts to play. Your heart races in anticipation for you favorite singer or band to come on stage. It's this feeling that you have been waiting for all day. At that moment nothing else matters. I'm not thinking about why I was mad yesterday or how stressed I am for tomorrow. In that moment all that matters is the music. The music rushing through your whole body. The music that helped you through the nights you didn't think you could make it through. The music that helps you tune out the rest of the world.
Concerts are there for me when I need them most. It's the only thing I know of that will get me through a horrible week. It's a way for me to clear my head. I am waiting in anticipation for the next time I get to see one of my favorite artists live. The thought of the next concert gives me the courage and strength to push through to the next day because when my favorite band comes out and performs the song that got me through the worst night of my life, nothing else matters.
And that is why you should go to a concert.
